The product is expensive compared to other controls integration refit packages, but appears well made, with all metal parts well finished and professional quality. However, the instructions are a weak spot. I had to call Beat Sonic rep in Calif because the instructions and the actual wiring were out of sync, with instructions diagram showing separate leads on blue wires when they were actually spliced into one. Rep said it was okay to go without one connection and unit would still work, which was accurate. Also, I expected more than 8.5 x 11 xeroxed pages too small to read easily for a unit costing more than $400. I had to improvise on the by-pass wiring but fortunately all worked after educated guess on which wires to cut. There should be much greater detail, as cutting wrong wires with such little slack in original video harness would be hard to fix. So, good product overall, works as advertised with the JVC head unit JVC KWNT800HDT 7-Inch DVD-CD-USB-SD HD Radio Navigation Receiver I installed in a 2004 Lexus SC430. Note that the JVC unit itself has some issues fitting in the Lexus SC430. Center console trim must be modified because the retracting face plate on the head unit won't clear the wood console trim by about 1/4 inch. Also, the motorized cover door works only when the face plate on the JVC is retracted to negative position. See my review of the JVC head unit for details.
